Discovery of the Smallest Odd 6-Abundant Number<\/p>\n

The Mathematics Group 1 of the 56th graduating class at\u00a0Semboku\u00a0High School has achieved a world-first discovery by\u00a0identifying\u00a0the smallest odd 6-abundant number.<\/p>\n

The discovery was made by a team of eight members: Yugo\u00a0Nagamichi, Yusuke\u00a0Yatera, Akihito Nakamoto, Shion Haruki, Kohei Yamashita, Koki Fujiwara, Ryota Sogo, and Yuta\u00a0Uenishi.<\/p>\n

Mathematics Group 1 successfully located this value by developing an original methodology to construct a comprehensive table of odd superabundant numbers up to the 4,500th term.
